Asgard has done it again! When there’s expensive kit to be protected, British cyclists choose Asgard. And this was no different, when Victoria Barnes (formerly Williamson) approached Asgard Storage, looking for a security solution for her bikes, and her husband’s golfing gear.
Along with her Pro Golfer husband, Oliver Barnes, she will be storing her sports equipment that is necessary to keep at home. Oliver has plenty of golf equipment that he needs a place to be kept safe, and Victoria will now have space to keep her bikes that she uses for road cycling, when she’s not on the track.
"Huge thanks to @AsgardStorage team for my awesome shed, super happy with it! Police approved & looks great too" - Victoria Barnes
Stu, our trusted Asgard installation engineer got to work on the day and had the shed fully assembled within an hour. The shed of choice, for Vicky’s home, was as a Police Approved Bike Storage x 3 unit, which will provide a high-level of protection for everything that is kept inside, giving the couple peace of mind at their home.
Vicky began her track cycling career at the Junior Track World Championships in Moscow, where she won Silver in the 500m Time Trial. She has also competed in the 2013 Track World Championships in Minsk, Belarus and continues to compete at an international level.
The 23-year-old sprint cyclist suffered horrific injuries in a mid-race collision last year but has her sights on next year’s Commonwealth Games and Tokyo 2020. She’s now back in training and having recently got married, we wish her all the best for the future.
