Each Garrison Workshop Sheds features an internal apex roof height of 6ft 8”, double door access, a hardwearing loading ramp, plus electrical mounting plates inside for adding power (quantity of power differs per shed model). These great features, with a tough secure construction, make the Garrison workshop the ultimate workshop shed and tool storage shed.

Secure Workshop Sheds
Feedback from our customer base is at the heart of our product development, and we welcome any thoughts from shed sizes, functions and suggestions. As the Garrison workshop shed size was driven by our customer base (who requested a 10ft wide shed), we asked what was most important to them - price point, security features, door width + more. The focus group unanimously agreed the tool shed had to feature the same great security credentials as our high-security sheds to store all their tools and equipment safely.

We designed the Garrison Garden Workshop with all the same great security features as our high-security shed ranges with reinforced galvanised steel (weatherproof) panels and doors, welded stainless steel hinges, and an integral metal base that bolts to the ground for 360 degrees of protection. The Garrison Workshop Shed is fitted with our tough 5-point locking system (including internal deadbolts), an EN1303-rated pick-and-drill resistant euro-cylinder lock, and a handle that's designed to shear off in the attempt of an attack. Like all Asgard sheds, the Garrison metal shed is also built from the inside out, giving no screws or leverage to thieves.
All these security features make the Garrison Workshop sheds Loss Prevention Certification Board, Secured by Design (Police) and UK Locksmith approved, giving peace of mind this is a secure tool storage shed.
A Workshop Shed Designed for Working In
As our workshop shed has been specifically designed to be worked in, this tool shed is power-ready with electrical mounting plates (location and quantity differ depending on shed size), which have been positioned to be accessible with our new workbench. To get power to the shed, the cables can be fed into the unit through side panel grommets and internally fed around the shed roof with new access holes in the roof brackets. To boost security, a hidden pop-out hole in the fascia gives the option to add a security camera and/or light to the front of your shed.

As with all garden workshops, ventilation is key, not only to reduce condensation build-up but to maintain airflow whilst working. The Garrison 11ft, 14ft and 18ft models are fitted with additional ventilated side panels to boost airflow, and all shed models feature our signature hidden airflow in the roof. Please note, that we always recommend keeping the doors open whilst you are working in the shed to maximise airflow.
To make the workshop shed easy to work within, we’ve included two large doors with 170-degree openings to help manoeuvre items in and out. Each door has an extra 760mm at the side to easily add storage racking and workbenches whilst creating a centre workspace. The tool storage shed has an internal apex height of 6ft 8” sloping to 5ft 8” at the sides, with an Asgard workbench at the side of the shed, it creates a 6ft 3” working head height.

The Garrison workshop shed is professionally installed by Asgard’s shed installation teams who have gone through specialist training to build the Garrison metal shed. Due to the complexity of the shed build and the additional shed height of 7ft, our engineering team have developed a special tool to help and support the roof during installation - this is why all Garrison Workshop Sheds come with a professional install as default.
