The official route for the Tour de France 2014 has been revealed. This is an exciting time for cycling enthusiast and all of the racers taking part, however at Asgard there is only one part of the Tour de France we are really interested in and that is stages 1 and 2 of the tour. Asgard is based in Yorkshire and proud! So we’re very excited to see the full route for these stages and how close it passes to our Head Office in Bradford.
Stage one of The Grand Depart 2014 is from Leeds to Harrogate. Along the way this route will pass through: Harewood, Otley, Ilkley, Skipton, Kettlewell, Buckden, Kidstones, Aysgarth, Hawes, Reeth, Leyburn, Middleham, Masham, West Tanfield, Ripon and finally Harrogate.
Stage two of The Grand Depart 2014 is from York to Sheffield. This route will be passing through Knaresborough, Addingham, Keighley, Haworth, Hebden Bridge, Cragg Vale, Ripponden, Huddersfield, Holmfirth, Holme Moss, Peak District National Park, Langsett, High Bradfield and finally Sheffield.
Luckily for us, these stages take place over the weekend, so we won’t have to stop operating to see all of the excitement!
