Asgard is FORS Silver accredited 

Asgard Storage delivers our storage sheds across the UK with our very own fleet of vehicles. We’ve been working hard to achieve our Fleet Operator Recognition Scheme (FORS) Silver accreditation which confirms are compliant with FORS standard requirements, CLOCS Standard for Construction Logistics, and TfL’s WRRR (Work Related Road Risk). 

Driving Safely
All our drivers have recently undergone their Safe Urban Driver Training module for their annual driver CPC qualification. This module gives drivers knowledge and understanding of the road risk from a vulnerable road user perspective, for example, cyclists. As a group of cycling enthusiasts, we know how important this module is as road safety is often a blocker to more people cycling.

The DCPC course covers a mixture of theory and practical content including the changing streetscape, sharing the road safely, defensive driving techniques, vehicle safety equipment, driver attitude, fitness & health and hazard recognition. 

Driving Efficiency
In addition to vehicle safety, the FORS accreditation demonstrates our commitment to reducing vehicle emissions and reducing fuel efficiency. Sustainability is important to both Asgard and sister company Flexiform, with recently achieving a 19.20% reduction in co2 diesel emissions per Asgard Storage product drop from 2020 - 2022. In 2023, we’ve also invested in a more efficient fleet to comply with Air Zone regulations.

The FORS accreditation helps us learn new techniques and technologies to improve vehicle emissions, fuel efficiency and monitor fuel and tyre usage - giving us the right tools to achieve our goals.
